Facebook

I've joined. Oh God, I am such a lemming.

Oh, and here I thought *I* was the last one to succumb!

Me too. Just remember it's a publicity tool not a way to waste yet more time on the internet. You can set up the Facebook to show your LJ posts. I tried it. Not sure if it's still working.

Come find me over there. I'm listed as Phyllis Irene Radford.

Welcome aboard! Now you'll have even less spare time! :-)

Hello Lemming!

I so agree with you about the content warning - good to know you'll be concentrating here, then!

Crazy(and perhaps schizophrenic with all the accounts with different names all over the place)Soph

Coincidentally I just joined the day before yesterday so that I could view my DH's facebook page. I poked my head up at the wrong (or right? :-) ) time and got carried over the cliff with the herd. But it appears that there's a soft landing!

[identity profile] airporter.livejournal.com 2009-01-02 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
As one to another, which cliff is next?

[identity profile] seventorches.livejournal.com 2009-01-02 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
but you have your LJ set to feed into Facebook--doesn't that count under "posting content to Facebook"? That's part of why I disconnected mine.

If it will make you feel better, I could consider joining Facebook, and then you wouldn't be the last person to do it.

Joined a while ago, but I'm using it sparingly for reflective and personal writing. It is too public, and frankly odd, or maybe just ood.

One of us. One of us.

[identity profile] criada.livejournal.com 2009-01-02 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Holy Crap, there's a lot of David Levine's on Facebook, including at least one from Portland. Where are you on there?

[identity profile] camillealexa.livejournal.com 2009-01-02 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I have an account, but I'm intimidated by *yet another* online timesuck.

[identity profile] n6tqs.livejournal.com 2009-01-02 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, which David Levine are you?

[identity profile] joycemocha.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Congrats. I'm not likely to join unless and until it becomes more necessary for my writing, just due to teacher issues and Facebook (not highly recommended for teachers; among other reasons it gives students a chance to spoof your posts).

[identity profile] orangemike.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
I "joined" quite a while ago, but I don't spend much time there. No harm done.

[identity profile] fmsv.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
I'd friend you there, but can't figure out which David Levine you are. I'm Dean Gahlon there, if you'd like to friend me.

[identity profile] janetl.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
I just joined, too. I think I lot of bored, snow-bound people in the Pacific NW joined recently. I'm finding it rather odd. I'm used to online environments that are more ... how do I put this ... nerdy.

[identity profile] allanh.livejournal.com 2009-01-03 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but you're a lemming who both square dances and writes beautifully.

You'll be fine.
