I'm really enjoying these Tuesday night writing get-togethers. Only two other people tonight, and I wound up with [livejournal.com profile] jaylake's power supply, but I pried open the firewall story and, after a long period with story parts spread out all over the garage floor, got everything crammed back inside and the casing bolted back on before heading home. It wants another read-through and a smoothing pass, and perhaps a bit of a trim, but I've done just about everything I wanted to do with it based on last week's critique. Is it better, or even good? No idea.

(Hey [livejournal.com profile] bricoleur and [livejournal.com profile] coreolis, if you haven't had a chance to look over the previous version yet, don't bother. Would you like the opportunity to give me a quick reaction to the revised version?)
