Via [livejournal.com profile] coalescent and others: "When you see this on your flist, quote Firefly. Unless you don't happen to feel like it, which is perfectly fine by me."

"Yes... this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... this land."
"I think we should call it your grave!"
"Ah! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"
"Hahaha! Mine is an evil laugh!"

One of my favorite quotes! :) I also like "Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle." I'm actually going to an opening night show with some friends - I almost never do that!

Ah, it's so hard to settle on just one quote, but this is one of the very best!

I saw it last night in Waukesha, with Cicatrice, Kelly, Tom Cason, Mary Prince, Kyym Kemple, and some more of the usual Milwaukee fandom suspects.

Expect to be impressed, amused and moved.

Finished form has gotta be more impressive, if not more moving; none of that, "Gee, this is really good CGI here!" CGI.

Hmm, I don't think I'm interested enough to take action to watch something I'm not interested in, if you know what I mean (I'm not very interested in watching anything at all, usually; that's the main reason I don't have a TV). What I've heard of the movie makes me think it's something I don't want to see anyway. But thanks all the same :-)

Opening night and more.

Insofar as the studios judge how well a movie does by opening weekend, how many times are we going to see the Big Damn Movie in a three-day period? I'm thinking three times, myself.
