These jobs are all located in Portland, Oregon. Limited relocation assistance is available for the Interaction Designer position (only!).

Not a direct comment about the job listings -- only a quick glad-you-posted as they triggered some much-needed thoughts in the marketable skills for future employment dept.

Also, a belated Mondo Congrats on the Hugo nom!

Eh, I have way too much to learn before I can apply for any jobs like those. Flash, DHTML... hell, I don't even know what AJAX is. Nah, I'm more trying to sort out if it's even possible to learn what I need to learn to pursue such jobs in the future, especially considering I am entirely self-taught and have no little pieces of paper assuring my competence.

It's been something on my mind a lot of late and your job links prompted me to head over to Craigslist Seattle and check out their listings.

I looked at the job requirements, and until I got to the part about web-design, I was golden. *sigh*. I feel like such an old dinosaur. All my design skills are geared towards print and I've never even learned html (beyond what little I need for lj).
