Did you know that incandescent light bulbs will be phased off the U.S. market beginning in 2012? I didn't.

And we were all supposed to be metric by 1980, or something like that. I am told that there are significant manufacturing pollution problems with fluorescent bulbs. I have been to busy to check out what that may be.
