Well, now I'm sick too. Not as sick as Kate was -- I haven't thrown up, at least -- but I'm feverish, achy, and completely lacking in energy and appetite. So we're putting Lise on a cab to the train to Seattle and will stay at home for the weekend. We may or may not have anything resembling Thanksgiving dinner, depending on how we feel tomorrow.

Happy turkey day to those who are in a position to celebrate it.

Aw man... Sorry to hear this. Y'know, it's just an arbitrary day, right? You can move your Thanksgiving to next week if you need to. Hell, Canada put theirs in a completely different month.

Ugh, sorry to hear you have it too now. Lots of water and lots of lying down (stop going up and down the stairs!) has gotten me through most of it, I think, and I only lost three days. Hope you feel better sooner so you can celebrate T-Day next week!
