Market supper

A quiet day, some of which was spent preparing for next weekend's yard sale. But the highlight of the day was our trip to the farmer's market, where we acquired wonderful ripe tomatoes, fragrant basil, and fresh-baked ciabatta for tonight's supper: tnh's tomato and bread salad.

Yum.

If I were deedop I would have a photograph that evokes its wonderfulness. But we ate it before I thought of that, and anyway I'm not that good of a photographer.

Also acquired: organic ribeye steak (from the farmer who raised the cow) and fingerling potatoes, for tomorrow's supper.

Y'know, sometimes I do scarf down good food without photographing it first. ;-)

Nice on the ribeye steak. Dave will be jealous. Then again, he's making jambalaya right now with homemade andouille.
