I was Googling on my own name, as one does (with the help of Google Alert), and discovered to my surprise that I was the one who made the first Usenet post referencing the Three Laws of Robotics. At least according to this web page: http://fusionanomaly.net/threelawsofrobotics.html (scroll to the bottom of the page).

(Check out the UUCP address in my signature!)

Remember the days when you had to type a newspaper story in yourself in order to make it appear on the Net? Kids these days, with their Google News and their "copy'n'paste" and their crazy clothes, they don't know what it was like back then!

According to Evelyn Leeper, at some panel:

I made a proposal that those of us around when people still used "!" paths should form "F!rst F@ndom."

(Pronounced, I suppose, "fbangrst fattndom.")

Not to take the wind from your sails, but this posting from MAB Garstin would seem to have beaten you by a couple of months.

I've always been a little nervous about anyone googling "Bill Eyler" since it brings up hordes of links to Peel Off and the like! I loved it when my 19 year old (at the time) niece googled me and then asked me what all THAT was about!
