GIP (Gratuitous Icon Plea)

You may already have seen the educational film How Greeting Cards Are Made (if not, watch the whole thing, it's hilarious).

In the section on writing (it's near the end of "Clip 2" on the referenced page) there is a bit where the rabbit pounds her head on a typewriter keyboard. Could someone please convert this into an animated LJ icon for me, or point me to someone who has already done so, or suggest a tool I could use to do it myself? This would involve taking a brief sequence out of a QuickTime MOV file, scaling and/or cropping it to 100x100 pixels, and converting the result to an animated GIF.

There you go. Here's the process: Save the movie, use Quicktime to crop the movie to roughly the bit you want. Use Image Ready (which comes free with Photoshop not that that's much help because Photoshop is too expensive for casual use) to crop to exactly the right frames. Then crop the picture to 100 px square and use Image Ready's optomise tool to get it under 40k.

Oooh! That's great! Um...May I grab it too? With credit? David, this was your idea; would you mind if I grabbed it? I only have one writing icon (see attached) and this one really, um, speaks to me....

I really like the How Greeting Cards Are Produced film too. Ya know some of my best friends work for greeting card companies...
