6/7/06: Briefly

Found another way to handle the opening. Now there's at least a hint of something weird within the first two pages. Will have to clean up the edges a bit tomorrow.

Also, I worked in the main character's name in paragraph 2. One of the perils of first person is that I managed to write over 1500 words without naming the narrator. Oops. Fixed now.

I thought the idea was you go 1500 words before naming the narrator, and another 1500 before revealing his/her/its gender.

I'd be happy to send it to you when it's done. It would be best if you leave a comment reminding me about this when I post that it's done, because I might forget.

When I said I was uncertain about friending counslr_tragedy etc. I meant I didn't know whether or not that was what you wanted, not that I didn't know whether or not I would do it. Just let me know.
