Pirates say "Ahrr", not "Argh". The number and order of H's and R's are variable, but there is no G. Got it?

Pirates only say "Argh" when run through by a cutlass or otherwise suffering something unexpected and painful.

It's one of the pirate vowels! A, E, I, O, U, and sometimes "Arrrr."

One of the funniest scenes in the radio play series I was in was when the pirates tried to teach the Bostonian how to say "Arrr" and failed utterly ;)

It's SILENT, okay? The "gh" is silent as in "through", okay? It's not a hard "gh" as in "ghetto", it's silent as in "catarrgh."

Um, wait.

It IS silent, though.

I agree completely. I also firmly believe there is no H.
