In 2006 I published three new stories: "Primates" and "The Last McDougal's" in Asimov's and "I Hold My Father's Paws" in Albedo One. Of these I am most proud of "I Hold My Father's Paws" (which you can read online at Infinity Plus), and I hope you will consider nominating it for Best Short Story.

I also hope you'll consider nominating Bento for Best Fanzine and Kate Yule for Best Fan Writer. Bento has just missed the Hugo ballot several times, and with the Worldcon in Japan and a name like Bento I figure this might be our year :-)

"Paws" is a damn powerful story. I hadn't read it before, and I made the mistake (?) of reading it around 6am or so during an all-nighter, so naturally I was a bit more emotionally responsive than usual. Still, very good work.
