Actually, the main reason I'm posting is to brag about the fact that we're lazing on the verandaaah, drinking fresh-brewed Sumatran, reading the Sunday paper, sitting on the new patio furniture kateyule just acquired, and enjoying the recently-spruced-up backyard and the birds and the wifi. Life is good.

Further, it should either take a hyphen or be an adverb... as in:
...fresh-cracked egg
or
...freshly cracked egg

Had an interesting discussion about that at work, actually. I believe it is incorrect, but deliberate: by omitting the hyphen they give the impression that it is a FRESH egg, when it is merely freshly-CRACKED. (I.e. it is an actual egg, not glop from a carton, but God knows how old it is.)

I must protest. Most of the original cat macros on (I think) fark.com were both properly spelled and grammatically correct. Then the idea that cats have their own idea of grammar was added, which I think worked quite well. But there was never a necessity for all this bad spelling nonsense, which has even extended to LOLPresidents, who you'd expect to be able to spell (present incumbent excepted).

So "I has a fresh-cracked egg!" works fine for me. Just a touch of poor grasp of how to conjugate the verb "to have" (because if cats have bad grammar, toasted buns should be as bad).

You may be right about the original cat macros, but for as long as I've been aware of them it has definitely been understood that cats can't spell and don't have good grammar. The first time I saw a cat macro was this page (dated October 2006) which includes I MADE YOU A COOKIE BUT I EATED IT and many instances of IM IN UR... (as well as, I must admit, several correctly spelled and grammatical cats such as INVISIBLE BIKE and CEILING CAT IS WATCHING YOU MASTURBATE), and of course the definitive source for cat macros today is ICANHASCHEEZBURGER which has a spelling error right in the URL. I think the typos probably started with the merger of cat macros with gamer-speak, specifically IM IN UR BASE KILLIN UR D00DZ.

I hate to say this, but from this vantage it kinda looks like a toilet. Just try to tell me it doesn't. There's the holding tank at the back and...
